Friendly staff. Lots of variety at the breakfast buffet, comfy beds, fluffy pillows and towels. We got a room with ocean view, which was lovely. The beach is very, very close to the hotel, which is awesome. Lots of outdoor sitting areas. Also, this is the first time I get a loofah among the toiletries, which I really appreciate. The soap and shampoo smell really good, and the conditioner left my hair feeling great. Amazing italian pizza at the bar (pricey but delicious). Access to the spa area where the pool and saunas are is not included in the price, and it's paid per person and per day, so it's a bit of a splurge. We paid for one day and it was very enjoyable. If the weather is warm at night, there's a small fan in the room (no AC though). One small improvement could be adding a shoe horn.

Family room, double bed and sleeping couch. 2 adults and 2 kids(5-7). Nice and big room, good breakfast, good selection of food, good space. Clean rooms but som missed spots in the corners and under the bed. Nice staff and service minded young adults at the breakfast, offers you coffie and ask if you want a refill. It is the small things that counts. Payed 1450 nok for this room that was bought in a new Years sale. Thats GOOD value for money and that is also why rating is so good. If the price had been double rating would definitely been lower due to small things that should be better. But, we had a great time and will be back when the price is right!

The hotel was beautiful- view of beach,- half Glass ceiling in room w remote controlled shade. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally presented . Food was terrific. Hotel n restaurant staff seemed eager to please- lots of smiles . Staying at Sola Strand made the focus of that part of our trip- to see the Lysefjord n Pulpit Rock perfect for us. We were on a 3000 km car trip from a wedding in Petersberg Hesse DE , ancestors finding a distant cousin in Vorra Bavaria with sightseeing along the way , thru Denmark n relatives in Sweden n back to Frankfurt n home in Texas. Sola Strand was great.

Beautifully located hotel right by the beach. We asked to move rooms due to bed accesssability after the first night, and were given a beautiful alternative room with a stunning view and extremely comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms include a small fridge which is very useful for drinks etc. The breakfast is superb, fresh and yummy wide choice in food and always fully stocked. Overall a wonderful stay, and would definitely return.

I recently stayed at this hotel which is right near the beach, and despite the rain throughout my visit, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were kind and incredibly helpful, making sure everything was just right. The fire lighting was a perfect touch, adding warmth and comfort on rainy days. The food was lovely, offering delicious meals that made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!
